"Best Female Musician, The Roaries 2010 "
- Chris Apollo Lynn, Republic of Austin (Feb 26, 2010)
Tara Craig burst onto the Austin music scene in 2007, captivating audiences with a voice that is equal parts soulful and vulnerable, and lyrics that come straight from the gut. From empowering anthems to quiet love songs, there's an intimate, timeless quality to Tara's sound. According to critic Heather Robinson, Tara “is adept with both the guitar and piano and delivers an eclectic mix of soaring spirituals and... broken-hearted ballads.” Tara is backed by drummer Marco Arroyo and bassist Wayne Decker, who “fold the sounds of their respective instruments masterfully into each song” (Tyler Groover). |
